Does this sound like you?
“I feel insane! I wake up in the middle of the night looking at his phone, checking his email – this is NOT me!”
“I am constantly re-living the facts, conversations, emails, pictures; just when I feel a little calmer – BOOM – the questions in my head start all over again!”
“I was fine, next thing I know I am in a panic, with my heart pounding”
“This is the absolute WORST pain I have ever known!”
Conclusion: You are NOT crazy, and you are not alone!
How is C.A.R.E set up?
The program is set up into closed modules that meet once per week for, 2 hours over 8 sessions. C.A.R.E is a "closed group" which means that once the module begins, no additional participants will be admitted. At the end of the eight sessions, participants may register for a new C.A.R.E module, or a general women's group. New participants may be admitted only at the start of the new module, and only if a prior participant terminates.
What is the make up of the groups?
The group has between 6 to 10 women and is led by a female therapist.
In recent years, much research has been done in the area of affair recovery. C.A.R.E
Is on the cutting edge of that research. C.A.R.E.’s unique format creates a safe, compassionate and collaborative environment of women, which allows the participants to combat isolation, explore, manage and gain support for painful feelings and develop coping skills necessary to move through the healing process.
