Angela DeCandia Vitoria, LCSW ~ Founder
For me, the joy of being a therapist is in the special relationship bond I develop with each and every client. I believe that every person has the capacity to bring about positive change and balance for a more fulfilling life, and together, we can create a safe, caring, respectful space where you can explore the difficult and painful issues that prevent you from living the life you are hoping for. I am mindful that when people are struggling, they often feel very alone in that struggle. This is the very reason why, for me, my relationship with my clients is the instrument of healing. It is truly an honor to walk along side my clients on their path toward positive change, better relationships and greater resilience.

Personal
I believe that being a good therapist means having a balanced life. I practice yoga and meditation, and am credentialed by the Yoga Alliance as a certified E-RYT 500 yoga instructor. I enjoy playing my guitar, hiking, cooking, a great book, and spending time with the people I love. I do not see myself as the “expert” but rather as a “person”, just like you, who happens to have a specific set of skills, training and experience, and is passionate about helping people feel better, and taking the journey with them to get to their “best selves.”
